10 Questions
01 What is CANVAS Playbook?

CANVAS Playbook is an internal guidance system created specifically for CANVAS Real Estate agents. It helps agents understand common workflows, organize their next steps, improve execution, and reduce preventable mistakes.

It is a support and training resource—not a replacement for your Broker, official brokerage policy, or required professional judgment.
02 Is this a generic chatbot like ChatGPT?

No. CANVAS Playbook is structured around brokerage operations, agent development, transaction workflow, and CANVAS expectations. Its purpose is to direct agents toward a practical next step rather than provide disconnected or random advice.

03 What types of questions should I ask?

Ask questions related to client discovery, sales execution, transaction stages, document workflow, Transaction Desk, contract processes, client communication, follow-up, and proper use of CANVAS systems.

Ask one specific question at a time and include the transaction stage, relevant deadline, and outcome you are trying to achieve.
04 Can CANVAS Playbook give legal advice?

No. CANVAS Playbook provides general educational and operational guidance. It does not provide legal representation or replace advice from a qualified attorney.

Questions involving legal interpretation, unusual liability, contract enforceability, or disputes must be escalated through the proper brokerage or legal channel.

05 Does it replace Transaction Desk training?

No. CANVAS Playbook can help explain a process or direct you toward the next step, but agents remain responsible for completing official Transaction Desk training and following current CANVAS procedures.

06 What if an answer feels incomplete or wrong?

Stop before acting. Rephrase the question with more facts and verify the issue with your Broker, Office Administrator, Transaction Coordinator, or another authorized CANVAS resource.

An answer that conflicts with a contract, law, brokerage instruction, or known transaction fact should never be followed without verification.
07 Should I enter private client information?

No. Do not enter Social Security numbers, banking information, passwords, login credentials, complete account numbers, access codes, or other unnecessary confidential information.

Describe the transaction issue without identifying the client when the identity is not required to understand the question.

08 What is the best way to ask a question?

State the transaction stage, explain what happened, identify the relevant deadline, describe what you have already done, and ask for one specific next step.

Weak: “What do I do?”
Better: “My buyer is under contract and the inspection period ends tomorrow. What should I verify before the deadline?”
09 Can it create addenda or contract language?

CANVAS Playbook may help explain the purpose of a form or identify a form that is commonly considered for a situation. However, the correct document and final language must be confirmed through proper CANVAS workflow.

Agents should not use generated language as a substitute for an approved form, brokerage instruction, or qualified legal review.

10 What is the purpose of CANVAS Playbook?

Its purpose is to reduce hesitation, improve execution, support consistent brokerage workflow, and help agents develop confidence through correct action and repetition.

Confidence is not a substitute for knowledge. It is the result of preparation, correct action, verification, and experience.
